A friend told me, “I used to go to Mui Ne once, but I don’t know why it attracts a lot of tourists. At night, it was so boring.” Several of my colleagues also concluded that during their trips to Vietnam, the bay was the most depressing destination. They said that the local turned off the light and went to bed at 8.00 p.m., as well as drew me a picture of tedious bay. I was quite confused, but a Vietnamese pen pal told me not to worry since she knew charming nightspots that would change my perspective of the dull Mui Ne.
After dinner, we strolled around the Western town in Mui Ne. It is called Western town since resorts and hotels in this street attracts mostly foreigners to stay. The spacious streets and cool breeze from the sea made us in the mood for finding a seafood restaurant to try tasty food while sharing countless stories.
Mr. Crab appeared several times on our way, so we decided to choose this one. The clean space attracted many diners. Thus, we believed it would bring us a fantastic night.
I have never gone shopping on the market until I came to the restaurant. In front of the restaurant, there was an area of glass tanks where numerous fresh sea creatures were diving. We went around and selected whatever we liked, and the Vietnamese girl asked for prices before we ordered. All products had their own listed price, so don’t worry about being cheated.
Our menu consisted of steamed clams with lemongrass, grilled squid with shacha sauce, and seafood porridge. I intended to try Perna Viridis, but it was sold out. I would try it the next time.
Listening to the wave sound, eating delicious food while talking to each other made us feel comfortable. As we stayed in the hub after dinner time, so it was not too crowded and noisy, and our conversation was more pleasant.

Listening to music in the sea atmosphere is the most relaxing method. There is no better place than a tranquil space at night with a tasty cup of coffee and melodious live music to enjoy in Joe’s Café Muine. I fell in love with this coffee house for the first time hearing the rhythm. While we were going around to see the bustle streets, the beautiful melody flew to us; then, we decided to spend a while at the café.
The stage was just a small space in the middle of the restaurant, where the audience sat nearby and listened to music. Perhaps I matched the music there; I immersed myself in the rhythm of the song “You know I’m no good.”
The performers each night are different, so frequent guests do not feel bored. After each song, artists thanked in various languages, such as English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, as well as Vietnamese. If a guest told the staff that that day was his birthday, the artists would give him a song as a birthday gift and said happy birthday in his mother tongue.
I ordered a glass of Banana Raspberry with a bit acrid and banana flavor, which was not suitable for the artistic space, I guessed. Maybe a glass of cocktail or fruit juice would be more agreeable to your stomach after dinner.

The typical characteristic of this bar is that the later the time gets, the livelier the bar becomes. After a substantial meal and light music, we wanted to search for a place to release excess energy before returning to our hotel.
Although the decoration was not too impressive, the bar was an ideal place to enjoy the vibrant, comfortable, and happy atmosphere. It is even considered the best bar in Phan Thiet province.
You can dance and enjoy the music in your way, from dancing in the middle of the stage to staying at your seat and lightly shaking. Another plus is that everyone wore comfortable outfits; there was no need to put on a sexy dress. The bar brought me a joyful experience.
